Mini-Zine-library

Das Pilotprojekt der «Mini-Zine-Library» fand Ende 2018 und Anfang 2019 in Lahore (Pakistan) und Kolkata (Indien) statt. Es verfolgte den kulturellen Austausch über nationale Grenzen hinweg und legte den Fokus auf die gemeinsamen Erfahrungen der Menschen in beiden Ländern.

In Workshops entstanden Zines, die kreative Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten boten und individuelle Perspektiven einfingen. Diese Zines wurden anschließend in einer «Library» versammelt und präsentiert. Der Abschluss des Projekts wurde an beiden Standorten mit einem Fest der Begegnung gefeiert – ein Symbol für Zusammenhalt und Verständigung durch kreative Zusammenarbeit.

The "Mini-Zine Library" pilot project took place in Lahore (Pakistan) and Kolkata (India) in late 2018 and early 2019. It pursued cultural exchange across national borders and focussed on the shared experiences of people in both countries.

Zines were created in workshops that offered creative expression and captured individual perspectives. These zines were then collected and presented in a "library". The conclusion of the project was celebrated at both locations with a festival of encounters – a symbol of cohesion and understanding through creative collaboration.
